Top Ten Books On My Fall 2013 TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Broke and The Bookish.  I should be moving in a couple of weeks to a different county.  I figured that before I sign up for a new library card (although honestly that's the first thing I want to do once I move in - have you seen the Graphic Novel section in the Millennium Library?  Locke and Key here I come!), I should at least try and read some of the books that I already own.  Hence, my list this week did go over ten...Top Twelve Tuesdays could be a thing, right?!

What books are on your Autumn TBR list?  Any new suggestions for when I cave and get a library card?

  1. You have an interesting list! I loved Ocean at the End of the Lane. I haven't read the others but I can't wait to read MaddAddam. I don't read a lot of humor but I'd also like to read Mindy Kaling's book. She's so talented.

    1. Thank you! I'm really excited for MaddAddam, too. I wanted to read Oryx and Crake and The Year of The Flood again to jog my memory, but I just haven't had the time.

  2. It should be Top Twelve sometimes :)

Yessss Fabricated! It was SUCH a good book and made me so excited for 3D printing. And I loved Mindy Kaling's book too. Season 2 of her show starts tonight, I wish I had tv channels so I could watch it.

    1. We've only just finished up with season one over here in the U.K. I'm not sure if I liked the whole season, but I'm hoping it changes into a 'omg, I can't miss this' type of show, because I found Mindy as a character really endearing and funny, and also flawed but in an honest sort of way.

  3. Wow, I love your list! Yes, yes, yes to Joe Hill and Neil Gaiman! (Heart-Shaped Box is one of the scariest things I've every read... gives me the shivers thinking about it!). I've been wanting to read Shining Girls as well, and I can't wait for MaddAddam (although I think I need a refresher on The Year of the Flood first). Lots of great reading coming up this fall -- enjoy!

  4. I still need to read American Gods. I tried years ago but just could not get into it. I'd love to try it again and see if I like it better this time. That Chuck Wendig book looks awesome as well.
