The Great Gatsby

In my quest to read more 'classic' novels, and also as a small book I could fit in my bag for my day trip to London, I decided to finally get around to reading F.Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby.  All I've ever known about it was 20's glamour and parties and so was surprised by what the actual book contained; which was so much more.  Hidden within all the pleasing aesthetics is a tragic heart.  Gatsby is trying to reach for a relationship that simply doesn't exist anymore.
